Condolences started pouring in as soon as the news of Samajwadi party (SP) supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav’s death was announced on the party official Twitter handle by party president Akhilesh Yadav. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recollected his relationship with the veteran leader on his twitter handle, “Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji was a remarkable personality. He received immense admiration as a humble and grounded leader who was sensitive to people’s problems. He served people diligently and devoted his life towards popularising the ideals of Loknayak JP and Dr. Lohia.”
