Delhi elects AAP in MCD, throws BJP after 15 years

Delhi-ites have thrown out the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) after 15 years. This clearly shows people were not happy with the Saffron and opted for a change in the MCD. Oo

BJP however has put up a strong fight against AAP in most the wards in East Delhi. Once these wards used to be the bastian of Congress which has lost its face value. However, the Congress has won nine seats. Three in the Shahin Bagh itself.

People have voted agaist the AAP candidate in Patparganj which is the assembly constituency of Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia. Apart from that people have opted for BJP in the assembly constituency of AAP leader and former health minister, Satyendra Jain whose video went viral showing him taking massage from a POCSO accused in the Tihar. Sisodia has projected the man as a physiotherapist and slammed the BJP. The BJP wasted no.time and exposed the lies of AAP.

Let’s take a glance at the final vote share. AAP at 134, BJP at 104 Congress at 9, and others at 3.

Both the parties had made tall claims and big conviction… It’s now for AAP to show if al all it cares for people and keep it’s convictions. Bleak chances though as AAP is know for flouting it’s convictions. From free wifi to cctv camera none of it’s convictions came to be true.

Immediately after ther the final poll count and Election Commission announcing AAP as the next contender for the MCD, Delhi’s chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal thanked Delhi for opting for AAP in the MCD.

People have opted for a change, it will be intersting to watch if AAP fulfills it’s convictions. Coming days will decide if AAP deserves MCD or not.
